We prefer to work overseas not minding the fact that we are miles away from our families and loved ones to fulfill the dream of uplifting  their social condition but we know deep in our hearts, we hate to come back.

One of the current problems that OFWs are facing is the unpredictable devaluation of dollar. Remittances from our fellow OFWs all over the world contribute in the continuous appreciation of peso and depreciation of dollar.

Despite the weakening of dollar and continued price increase of commodities, we manage to sustain the remittances that we’ve been previously sending our families.  We tighten our belts or keep on adjusting the budget to the extent that we sacrifice our own needs.

What if the worst scenario comes, are we ready for it? Do we have enough savings to suffice the needs of our families until we find new job?

In consideration of the aforementioned scenario, P14 Multi-Purpose Development Cooperative offers an alternative financial tool to our fellow OFWs and other interested regular income earners where they can have ownership opportunity. 

P14 Multi-Purpose Development Cooperative envisions that someday its members can venture into an entrepreneurial opportunity and eventually provide security and assurance that their respective families can depend on in the future.

We decided to start the operation of this cooperative within Olongapo City and nearby province of Zambales to help the informal sector in this community. 

Ako po ay naniniwala na hindi lahat ng kasagutan ay nasa pangingibang-bansa. Minsan, hindi na natin kailangang magsakripisyo o ikumprumiso ang ating mga kabuhayan upang makaalis sa pag-asang tayo ay makapagsisimula at makapagpupundar ng kabuhayan kapag tayo ay nangibang-bayan. Dahil katulad ng buhay sa Pilipinas, ang pagiging OFW ay isang pakikipagsapalaran din!

Ang P14 ay may misyon na maging kamay upang mapunan ang kakulangan ng ating mga kababayan, OFW man o hindi, sa usaping paninimula sa larangan ng pagnenegosyo. Dito ay nilalayon na makita ng ating mga kababayan na hindi lahat ng pangarap ay tinitingnan nang  malaki at tinatakdaan ng tamang panahon upang marating ang realidad. Na katulad din ng pananaw ng karamihan sa atin, ang pagnenegosyo ay nangangailangn ng malaking kapital, ng kaalamang teknikal, ng kahusayan o bokasyon at ng ka-partner na makakaagapay natin sa pagsisimula. Ang P14 ay naniniwala sa diwa ng PAGTUTULUNGAN. Ano ka man ngayon, OFW ka, guro, vendor, namamasukan o kabilang pa man sa uring small-time earner sa Pilipinas, ang P14 ay may layuning abutin ka mula sa kalagayan mo ngayon tungo sa nais mong marating para sa pinakamamahal nating PAMILYA.

Ang maliit, pag pinagsama-sama ay nagiging isang pwersa na makapagpapaandar ng isang makinarya tungo sa mabilis na pagbabago, bubuhay ng isang pangarap na masasandalan natin mula ngayon, sa oras ng ating pangangailangan at magbibigay kahandaan para sa ating kinabukasan.
