1ST GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING (OLONGAPO CHAPTER) |

On the 19th day of April, 2008, the First General Assembly of P14 MPDC in Olongapo City, Philippines was held. The program started at 10:30am and was opened by Engr. Victor Peñalosa (Corporate Treasurer), the Master of Ceremony.
The program proper was laid. Engr. Mark Garcia led the opening prayer. After few minutes of solemnity, the opening remarks were given by Engr. Peñalosa. He cited the reason why he joined our cooperative and that is P14 is composed of idealistic, optimistic and young professionals with one goal “service above profit.” He welcomed the guests, members and directors and then passed the floor to Ms. Emily Mendez (Director for Membership) to give the history of P14 as to how, when and where it was started. After her part, Engr. Peñalosa called for Ms. Daisy Cariaga (General Manager of P14) to discuss the benefits and services that P14 MPDC offers. When the loan policy was tackled, everybody was delighted for new opportunities were opened.
When the floor was given to Mr. James Rex Padilla for the closing remarks, everybody can’t stop to smile due to his humorous messages. He imparted some positive values that is the practicality and determination to live and withstand the hardships and obstacles despite of the limited resources. Where he encouraged all of us to use our money wisely and save it for future use at the same time promote the cooperative as the best medium. |
